My name is Donja Gorter, and I'm an artist working out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I work in both traditional and digital art, preferring a combination of the two.
I'm interested in history, memory, and relationships. I like to especially incorporate floral elements into my work, drawing a lot of inspiration from nature. I love comics, and all manner of tabletop games!
I'm currently developing my own graphic novel, called Etta & Nore. It's about a writer that moves back home after being fired. When she arrives, she meets a golem she accidentally created as a child in the woods. The story follows their developing friendship as they tackle the forces of society, who would keep them apart.
